Senior Node.js Developer (m/f/d)
You will join our product development team as a Senior Node.js Developer to create new features and improve our technical infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
Working with us not only requires exceptional technical and communicational skills. Furthermore you will take care about the following:
- technical and conceptual planning and validation of new features
- creating reliable story estimates
- self manage and plan your weekly tasks and align with your team
- code reviews / PRs for your peers
Our Requirements
Technical
You have a profound knowledge of Javascript / Typescript and at least 4 year working experience with Node.js, mySQL and AWS cloud and micro-services. You have a high quality demand on the result of your work and furthermore you are interested creating great user experiences for our clients.
Communication & Feedback
We are feedback enthusiasts and believe it is essential to a teams culture. We also believe, that communication is a key skill for software development. Top notch communication skills and and a team mindset are mandatory to this position. But at the end having a lot of fun together is the foundation for everything we do.
What to expect
Meetings and Workflow
- Weekly Jour Fixe
On Monday morning we start with a team meeting, discussing projects updates and upcoming upcoming tasks for the week. We also schedule necessary alignment meetings. - Daily Standups
We start and end every day with a 10 minute daily standup meeting to plan the upcoming todos and close the tasks of the day. - Grooming, Planning and Reviews
Product related agile meetings take place every 2 weeks in general, depending in the project scope and client. - Team Development Meetings
Once every 4 weeks, we meet for a 90 minute team retrospective addressing all technical and non-technical issues that are currently in effect. In the summer month this can take place in a beergarden nearby ;-)
